#ThrowbackThursday to one of my first on-site theme park gigs around 1995, as an assistant coordinator for a nighttime show at a new water park called “Fantasia Lagoon”, which was on the roof of a huge new mall near Bangkok. It was all hands on deck, and I was enlisted to reposition some of the underwater lights for the show. The park and mall were owned by an amazing lady named Luckana, who made her fortune with a Thai chain of stores called “Shoe Mart”, and then later developed a megamall empire called “SM Malls”. The rooftop theme park was one of her dream projects and I was tickled to help bring it to life for her. She took this photo and gave it to me, writing a sweet little note on the back. Yes, I got a sample of @dollyparton’s new perfume. Yes, I’m wearing it. Yes, I smell like butterflies, hearts & hope. While it’s not marketed as a unisex scent, it’s surprisingly not overly floral. It leans more sweet & slightly musky. Like me! 🦋 💜 ☮️
